The first mood report from Europe’s largest tourism and leisure fair the weekend kick-off the traditional CMT was a resounding success. For the second time, the holiday fair opened its doors at the country fair at Stuttgart Airport. Some 60,000 visitors found their way alone on the first two days here to get the latest holiday trends or also the one or other travel insider tip for 2009 on the track. Up to January 25, 2009, the exhibition for caravan, motor and tourism on the new Stuttgart trade fair takes place. The CMT is the biggest consumer exhibition for tourism in Europe. A total of about 200,000 travelers visitors are expected until January 25. As in previous years, the CMT current mood and trend barometer for the current year is fully booked. Travel special interest of the visitors was on the opening weekend of Romania and Argentina, this year’s CeBIT partner countries.
Romania again seems up for 2009 a strong plus to steer. A good accommodation with breakfast is to have at least for 50 euros per night.
